You May Look Fine on the Outside

While Struggling on the Inside

You may be successful in your career, relationships, or other areas of life and still feel anxious, disconnected, overwhelmed, or unsure of what you want. Maybe you're struggling with a relationship, questioning your identity, relying on substances or other coping strategies, or finding it difficult to talk about what you're actually feeling.

Therapy can offer a place to slow down, step outside of the expectations you carry, and better understand what's happening beneath the surface.

Chris works with adults who want to understand themselves more deeply, improve their relationships, and develop healthier, more sustainable ways of navigating life.

A Space to Be Honest About What You're Experiencing

Men's Mental Health

Many men have learned to manage difficult emotions by staying busy, pushing through, or keeping things to themselves. Over time, this can contribute to anxiety, depression, burnout, relationship difficulties, or feeling disconnected from yourself.

Chris works with men to explore the pressures they experience, understand their emotional lives, and develop healthier ways of relating to themselves and others.

LGBTQ-Affirming Therapy

Questions around sexuality, identity, relationships, family, and belonging can bring up complicated emotions. Chris provides an affirming, nonjudgmental space for LGBTQ+ adults and is particularly attuned to the experiences of gay and bisexual men.

Therapy can be a place to explore identity, relationships, shame, self-acceptance, sex, family dynamics, and the parts of yourself that may feel difficult to bring into other spaces.

Anxiety, Depression & Burnout

Anxiety and depression don't always look the way we expect. You may feel overwhelmed, exhausted, irritable, disconnected, or simply unable to enjoy the things that once felt meaningful.

Therapy can help you understand what is contributing to these feelings and find more sustainable ways to manage stress, emotions, and the demands of everyday life.

Areas of Focus

A Thoughtful, Direct Approach to Therapy

Chris believes therapy should be a place where you can speak honestly without feeling judged or told how you should live. He brings a straightforward, curious, and collaborative presence to his work.

His approach is grounded in psychodynamic therapy, with advanced training in interpersonal psychoanalytic psychotherapy. He also incorporates relational, somatic, and mindfulness-based approaches when helpful.

Together, you can explore both what is happening in your life now and the longer-standing patterns that may be influencing how you think, feel, and relate to others. The goal is not simply to understand yourself better, but to use that understanding to create meaningful change.
